- **Who it’s for**: Local and small businesses that want a great website without running one: trades, auto shops, clinics, studios, tour companies, food businesses, retailers and professional services.
- **How it works**: We build from what your business already shows online. You see it. If you keep it, we launch it, look after it and improve it when there’s a reason.
- **What it costs**: No build fee. $49 a month, in Canadian dollars for businesses in Canada and US dollars everywhere else. Automation and bookkeeping are quoted on what you need.
- **Where**: Based in Kitchener, Ontario. Working with businesses in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Everything happens online.
- **Who’s behind it**: Caribeam Inc., trading as Kohmera. A small team with a lot of automation, and real people who answer when you write.

## Built because web design needed a better model.

Kohmera started with one idea: nobody should pay thousands and wait weeks to find out whether they even like their website. So we flipped the order. We build first. You decide second.

Then something else became obvious. A website shouldn’t be finished the day it goes live. Businesses change, customers change, search changes. So we stayed: hosting the websites we build, watching how people use them and improving them when there’s a reason.

Looking after a business’s website every month, we started to see the rest of the business too. The enquiries answered by hand at midnight. The reminders written one by one. The receipts in a shoebox. So Kohmera now does three things: websites that keep getting better, automation for the repetitive work, and bookkeeping for the back office.
