Preview terms

A preview is a website we built for a business before the business asked for it, shown at a private address so the business can decide whether to keep it. These terms explain what a preview is and is not.

1. It is an offer, not an obligation

Nothing is owed by looking at a preview. You did not order it, you do not have to respond, and if you do nothing the preview is taken down on the date shown on it. No reply is needed to decline.

2. What the preview contains

Only information the business itself made public: its name, address, phone, hours, services, public reviews and public photos. If anything on the preview is wrong or you would rather it did not show, reply to our message and we correct or remove it, whether or not you claim the site.

3. Photos and reviews

Photos come from the business's own public pages. Reviews are quoted from public review platforms with the reviewer's first name and the platform named. If you own a photo and do not want it used, tell us and it is removed the same day.

4. Private address and search engines

Previews are hidden from search engines and are only reachable by their direct link. They are not indexed and we do not promote them.

5. Expiry

Each preview shows the date it comes down. After that date the address stops working and the site's files are deleted from our hosting. We keep the research for 90 days in case you change your mind, then delete it.

6. Claiming

Claiming a preview means subscribing under the Terms of Service. The preview then becomes your site, on your own domain, and the preview address is retired.

7. Name and logo

While a site is a preview, the business's name is used only to identify the business the site was built for. It does not imply endorsement, partnership or that the business asked for the site.

8. Stopping contact

Every message about a preview has a one-click unsubscribe. Using it stops all further messages from us about this or any future preview.
